Getting creative during ‘Black History Month’

In celebration of ‘Black History Month’, we have been exploring a range of techniques and activities with the children. The children have been exploring how to do marbling and used their new skills to create African prints. They enjoyed pouring out the paint into dishes and then dipping the tennis ball into the paint. The children were then encouraged to roll the balls until they were covered in paint. Once they had done this they were then encouraged to throw their balls onto the tray and swished about from side to side. The results were some really, lovely pictures.
